School Is Back In Session!!!

and It has taken over my life... I'm so thankful to have a job, but summer just went by a little too fast for me, which is the excuse I'm using for being a horrible blogger... I haven't even scrapbooked that much lately, but I do have one to share of my good friends daughter on her first day back at preschool.... Have a great day!!!

It's August!!!

I can't believe it is already the 6th day of August... I go back to work in 1 week... Although I would like the summer to drag on I'm very grateful for my job during these tough economical times... Anyway I've been doing some scrapping and I just wanted to share a few layouts I did for some of the challenges over at ACOT

Hello Monday!

I really should be a better blogger... I've just been so busy scrapbooking that I haven't made the time... I'm trying out for a design team so that has kept me pretty busy... I just received the call yesterday that my son is moving back home, so now I have to figure out what to do with everything in his room before he arrives...(wish me luck) He's only been gone a year and a half how did I accumulate so much??? I know I will figure out something... Have a great day....

I did this layout based on a sketch over at 2 Peas...

Accordian Flower Tutorial

1. Start with a 1x12 strip of paper, stapler, button.
2. Make an accordian fold going back and forth with the whole strip of paper.
3. Stick the ends together and staple them.
4. Lay it flat, it will look like a star.
5. Take the edges and push them all toward the center of the shape.
6. Top it with a matching button, using a pop dot, and put a pop dot on the bottom to adhere it to a card or layout.

Scrap Mojo Challenge!

The challenge this time around is to scrap using the words I'm a little bit____ and a little bit____. This comes from a song by Donny and Marie, and the other part was to also use dots on the page... So my title says I'm a little bit happy and sad, and I have hidden journaling in the file folder...
