A Fresh Start

In the past I have used this blog for snippets of my life and what I was doing. I walked away from it for years after life got busy and my photography redirected my attentions. I really feel the Lord tugging at my heart strings and wanting me to slow down and focus more on him and to share with others those things which he shares with me and that is exactly what I'm going to do. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: In a world of so much selfishness I feel we have lost sight of each other while focusing on us. We are just going through the motions of life caught up in the daily struggles with no time for anything or anyone else. How can we share God if we are so caught up in what we are doing that we don't have time for those around us? How can we be a light unto the world when we are caught up in the rat race gratifying ourselves? GOD'S WORD: “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another.” — Romans 12:9-16 - Shannon
